By what standards do you judge yourself?

Honesty, honor, integrity, compassion, and mercy. I try to live up to my standards of conduct so that I may strive to be a better man than the day before

* High morals and scruples, pride, kindness, tolerance, loyalty, and self belief. ‘Manners maketh man’, was one of my nans sayings, be polite, ‘never to mock the afflicted’, and have respect for the dead. I live by the old, and die by the old.

* I usually ask myself if I did a little better than my ancestors

* A bit too highly, but being a lil easier on my self these days.

* I’ve often been told my standards are too high. They must be mine.
