Do we think with language or pictures?
We think with symbols — the symbols can be from anyone or more of the five senses. Symbols accepted by many is called a language.
* Pictures, until recently I thought everyone did!
* According to cognitive linguistics, we think using language. Animals use the same principles of neural information processing (mostly metaphor and categorisation). Our spoken language is also based on the same rules.
