Does freewill really exist?
If there is no Free Will then no bad thing. Many things will not exist when there is no Free Will, including your question 😁
As a Stoic philosopher, my belief is that while there are certain events in life that we cannot control, we still have the ability to make choices and exercise our free will to a certain extent.
In Stoic philosophy, we recognize that there are things within our control and things outside of our control. The things that are within our control are our thoughts, beliefs, and actions. We can choose to cultivate a certain mindset and respond to events in a certain way. This ability to choose is what we call our free will.
However, there are also things that are outside of our control, such as the weather, other people’s actions, and unforeseeable events. We cannot control these things, but we can control how we respond to them. Stoic philosophy emphasizes the importance of accepting what is outside of our control and focusing our efforts on what we can control.
So while we may not have complete free will over everything in our lives, we still have the ability to make choices and shape our own destiny to a certain extent.
