Have we become less happy in this age of technology?

Yes because of our hedonic hunger, indulgence in meaningless pleasures.

* Happiness is and always has been a choice.

* Yes because of our hedonic hunger, indulgence in meaningless pleasures.

* Yes. Distraction can lead to destruction

* Yes, the more we have available to us the more we take it for granted.

* The West has clearly become less happy, and the evidence is pointing toward addictive dopamine fixes primarily from technology.

* Disconnection from nature is one of the reasons.

* Just more ‘stuff’ that some think will provide happiness, nothing external provides it, maybe technology impedes the discovery of that truth for some,. for others it will help them realise it.
