Is free will real or just an illusion?

* Everything is a chain of events that has been spiraling for eternity. We have free will only within our link of the chain. So the answer is yes and no. Yes, but only within a limited scope that we exist in, and that scope is also affected by everyone else’s free will.

* I may not be able to embellish words to put perspectives in an enhanced manner but I will tell you in as simple way as I can. And it’s all my personal realization that may not be the same for you. Free will is about the choices you make in your life. You can do things. But you or I are not divine yet to choose life over the natural forces. We can’t sustain our life disregarding struggle for existence. Does that mean we have no free will? Absolutely not. Why? Because free will isn’t being divine. So is their a limit to being free? I think yes and no both. Yes, because we can’t outweigh natural forces. No, because I have heard people living hundreds of years, getting enlightenment, living their own body to a free state of consciousness etc. So, basically, there might be a level of consciousness when we can truly exercise free will…
