Is it easier to love or to be loved?
Much easier to love, tbh
From a Stoic perspective, it is not a matter of whether it is easier to love or be loved. Instead, it is important to recognize that love is a choice and an action, not just a feeling.
In Stoic philosophy, we believe that love is a virtue, and it is something that we should cultivate within ourselves. This means practicing kindness, compassion, and empathy towards others, even when it may be difficult. By cultivating these virtues, we can become more loving individuals.
However, it is also important to be open to receiving love from others. Being loved can bring joy and happiness into our lives, and it is important to recognize and appreciate the love that others offer us.
Ultimately, both loving and being loved require effort and a willingness to be vulnerable. It is not a matter of which is easier, but rather a matter of recognizing the value and importance of both giving and receiving love in our lives.
* It’s easiest to not think- just FEEL & let Love happen.
* One cannot happen without the other.
