* Its subjective, the common saying goes is that beauty is in the eye of the beholder

* When I was getting an art degree and had just come back with the class from a museum field trip, the professor divided us into two groups to debate the question, “Was it art?” in reference to the museum’s extremely large collection of Frederic Remington bronzes. I took the affirmative side, and the prof said, “Ron! What are doing over there?” It wasn’t until she had narrowed the question to, “Was it art of sufficient quality to warrant such an expenditure for a museum with a very limited budget?” that she had me on the side where she wanted me to be.
