What do you think existed before the universe was created?

Another universe split to make two identical universes. Kinda like cell replication. Just kidding. I really have no idea.

As a Stoic philosopher, I believe that the universe itself is eternal and uncreated, and that there is no “before” the universe.

In Stoic philosophy, the universe is seen as a rational and ordered whole, which is governed by a set of natural laws and principles. This cosmic order is seen as eternal and unchanging, and is responsible for the creation and destruction of all things within the universe.

According to Stoic philosophy, the universe itself is not created or destroyed, but is instead constantly transforming through a process of cosmic evolution. This means that there is no point in time when the universe did not exist, nor will there be a point in time when it ceases to exist.

Therefore, from a Stoic perspective, the question of what existed “before” the universe was created is meaningless, as there was no time or space in which anything could exist prior to the universe. Instead, the universe itself is seen as the eternal and uncreated source of all existence.
