Which is more important, justice or mercy?

Mercy falls under the scope of justice

* It would have to be justice. Onc cannot even understand mercy on the big scale without a concept of justice behind it. Ever read On Clemency by Seneca? I think he would say that clemency is more important than mercy.

* Justice because it includes mercy if appropriate.

* Mercy falls under the scope of justice

* Mercy can lead to Justice, I think!

* There is no need for justice if mercy prevails. Justice not necessary. Hence, justice will be of use if mercy does not exist.

* Justice is knowing good from evil. Mercy is how we show to others which side are we on.

* Justice doesnt exist. Mercy

* Without justice there can be no mercy
