Which is more real, mind or matter?

If an explosion is of sufficient force, dust will wake up and ponder itself. They’re both real, but one can’t be without the other and the other can’t be perceived without the other.

As a Stoic philosopher, I believe that both mind and matter are real and interconnected, and that it is not productive to view one as more real than the other.

In Stoic philosophy, the mind and the body are seen as two aspects of a unified whole, and both are considered to be equally important. The mind is seen as the seat of reason and the source of ethical decision-making, while the body is seen as the instrument through which we interact with the world.

From a Stoic perspective, it is not productive to view the mind and the body as separate or competing entities, as this can lead to a false sense of dualism and a disconnect between our thoughts and actions. Instead, we should strive to cultivate an integrated and holistic view of the self, one in which the mind and the body are seen as interconnected and mutually reinforcing.
