Why do we respect the dead more than the living?

Respect is respect. Either you have respect or you do not. I’d say some people have it and some do not. This goes for the living or the dead.

* I think it’s the ultimate way of nature telling you that it is the one in control not you. This is absolute finality. You have 0 control and influence. That is power and that is respectful. Nature chose that to happen. That person no longer being in our zone of influence is done. It is nature’s greatest act.
* Because it’s the sad truth that we can’t accept yet everyone will experience it eventually.
