Why is beauty associated with morality?

* Beauty is not a virtue, and is not immutable. Each generation’s idea of beauty is different. Simply look at the subjects of ancient art. What was beautiful 300 years ago is homely today. It is actually the artistic skill itself that is considered masterful rather than the subject matter

* Probably because, rightly or wrongly, beauty represents an ideal.

* The beauty of the starry sky (macrocosmos) and charity in society (mesocosmos) are parallels of human good conscience in microcosmos.

* Because people are decieved.

* I wouldn’t say that it is.

* It isn’t, people want it to be connected but some of the ugliest people look pretty on the outside
